As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for the execution and proper monitoring of activities mentioned in manufacturing instructions, procedures, and standard operating instructions, as well as any other document used in the tasks specific to the fractionation and final filtration production areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Operation of manufacturing equipment and processes: Ensure the correct execution of fractionation, diafiltration, inactivation, and final filtration operations for influenza antigen, respecting all related documentation and strictly complying with Safety, Quality, and Productivity (GMP) standards.

Good Documentation Practices (GxP/DI): Responsible for the correct documentation of all assigned activities, in-process control records, sampling, and periodic verifications, ensuring zero documentation errors.

Compliance with the production schedule: Know and comply with the production plan, actively contributing to the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and participating in daily follow-up meetings (+QDCI).

Quality management and continuous improvement: Participate in a timely manner in the closure of corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs), deviations, quality and safety investigations, and in the implementation of ideas and projects to improve the work environment.

Escalation and troubleshooting: Responsible for the immediate escalation of anomalies or malfunctions in processes, materials, systems, services, and equipment, as well as the placement, assembly, and initial adjustments of equipment.

Order, cleanliness, and HSE compliance: Maintain order and cleanliness of work areas and equipment (5S), perform HSE8 verifications, identify and control Hygiene, Safety, and Environmental impacts/risks, and follow up on maintenance activities.

Training and teamwork: Responsible for training other operators, technicians, and assigned engineers, working as a team and maintaining constant communication with colleagues and supervisors, and complying with the training and qualifications assigned according to your position.
About You

Experience: Experience in operating production equipment, executing aseptic processes, and handling documentation under GMP/GxP standards.
Experience in in-process controls, sampling, and verifications of critical systems (HVAC, water, clean steam, gases).

Soft and technical skills: Solid knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP/GxP) and Good Documentation Practices (DI).
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
Results-oriented with an objective balance between benefit and risk.
Effective communication, teamwork, and emotional intelligence.
Problem-solving and timely escalation capacity. Leadership and personnel training skills.

Education: Completed Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Biochemical, Biotechnology, Industrial, or related).

Languages: Basic English
