What will your job be about?

  • Track daily production outputs, investigate root causes of delivery/dispatch issues, and lead continuous improvement actions on the shop floor.
  • Bridge shop-floor operations with management systems by analyzing KPI metrics, driving system-level improvements, and supporting IATF audit processes.
  • Collaborate closely with shop floor experts, foremen, and shift supervisors to maintain seamless operational workflow across active projects (e.g., Ford and Stellantis).
  • Transform shop-floor operational data into structured, high-level presentations and reports for executive leadership.
  • Actively participate in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and NYS (continuous improvement) activities directly on the production floor.
  • Support project transfer processes and operational feasibility analyses, including readiness for domestic and international travel (e.g., plant transfers).
  • Participate in daily, weekly, and change management meetings to ensure accurate information flow and process adaptation.

What will you bring with you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (preferred), Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant technical disciplines.
  • Good command and understanding of automotive quality management standards, specifically IATF 16949.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Practical knowledge or familiarity with SAP is a plus.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, specifically strong Excel capabilities (e.g., VLOOKUP, data analysis) and PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Strong communication, analytical thinking, and active listening skills, with a collaborative and humble approach toward experienced shop-floor personnel.
  • Flexibility for domestic and international travel, and adaptability to dynamic manufacturing schedules when necessary.
