An excellent opportunity for a mid-level corporate lawyer to move into a strategic Professional Support Lawyer role. This is a broad role focused on driving technical excellence, developing knowledge and embracing innovation, particularly in legal technology and AI.
The role:
You will support lawyers in a range of specialist areas throughout the corporate group.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Keeping teams up to date with key legal developments, regulatory changes and best practice
- Developing and delivering training to support technical excellence and early-career development
- Driving continuous improvement of knowledge management processes and ways of working
- Working closely with the Innovation and Legal Technology teams to encourage the effective use of AI and other legal technology
- Championing legal technology solutions
- Contributing to tenders, business development and client-facing knowledge content
What experience is required?
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE
- Experience within the corporate at a large UK law firm
- A genuine interest in legal technology, innovation and the developing use of AI
- Experience of delivering training, coaching or mentoring
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive change
- A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships across the business
A strong grounding in digital and technology law would be an advantage, although the role would also suit a commercially minded lawyer looking to apply their expertise more strategically and develop their career in knowledge, innovation and legal technology.
