Summary
Develops and implements IT acquisition policy and manages IT contracts for a U.S. Cyber Command support role at DISA.
This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA DISA - FE/Endpoint Svcs/Customer Spt PMO.
The Incumbent develops and implements Information Technology (IT) Acquisition policy, procedures, and guidelines to manage IT contracts.
Implements centralized life cycle management, direction and guidance for acquisition sustainment and implementation.
Performs contracting officer representative (COR) functions for IT service support contracts. Assists division managers in developing contractual plans.
Leads and coordinates the efficient planning, allocation and use of resources (funds and manpower) to satisfy customer requirements.
