Program Analyst

This position is in the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Office of Inspector General (OIG), Office of Analytics and Innovation. This position is for the employment of a senior Program Analyst to OAI's Analytic Solutions Branch and will provide expert guidance and coordination of OIG's Analytics activities, including the audit, investigative, analytics, legal, and project management functions.

Develops workload projections for the Office, recommends priorities in connection with long-range planning for OIG data analytics and research, and prepares justifications supporting team or project needs.

Analyzes management information requirements to develop program and administrative reporting systems including the systems specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology.

Develops comprehensive technical reports of findings providing sufficient evaluative detail and rigor.

Oversees the design, implementation, and evaluation of an updated team workflow and collaboration framework that can be implemented.

Determines appropriate products or services with clients or customers to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables, develops, modifies, or provides input to project plans.

Manages, leads, or administers project resources, monitors project activities and resources to mitigate risk, and implements or maintains quality assurance processes.

Develops presentations and/or briefings on all aspects of the project, participates in phase, milestone, and final project reviews.

This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP). If selected, you will be required to submit Form OGE-450 within 30 days of your initial appointment date, and annually thereafter.
