Abbey Road is a summer study abroad program for American and international teenagers. Our programs take place in the month of July in various locations across Western Europe, Canada and the United States. For detailed information regarding locations and dates please refer to our website.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the master calendar for the program – including travel itineraries, academics, excursions, meals, day trips and other
- activities
- Coordinate final arrangements for morning classes, afternoon and evening activities, weekend excursions, and the travel extension. This includes buying tickets, making and confirming reservations, planning itineraries, creating rooming lists, and coordinating all related lodging, transport, food, finances and other details
- Manage the budget and all money-related issues. Responsible for collecting and itemizing all receipts, tracking expenses and maintaining the budget file on a daily basis
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in the target language
- Outstanding organizational and logistical skills, energy, initiative,
- Resourcefulness and attention to detail
- 2+ years working with student travel or study abroad programs. Previous experience as a Resident Advisor or a Coordinator on a study abroad program would prove highly valuable
- Experience working with student organizations, planning events and activities.
