As a Program Manager (Training) - Career Coaching, you will be responsible for designing, facilitating, evaluating, leading, and managing adult education and professional development programs for USCIS supervisory and non-supervisory employees of all grade levels.

The responsibilities described are for the full performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope performed with less independence, and limited complexity.

Design and deliver effective communications regarding programs both to enlist support and endorsement from stakeholders and to inform potential program participants about the benefits of participation.

Build and manage detailed project plans, and facilitate the production of mission support outcomes for the agency by bringing together subject matter experts to ensure programs meet agency needs.

Design, develop and facilitate workshops and seminars using a wide range of educational theory, adult learning principles and practices.

Innovate existing training programs by utilizing novel approaches and development techniques, new technology, and input from fellow program managers.

Lead cross-functional project teams composed of subject matter experts, program office representatives, and learning and development professionals.

Integrate technology-enabled solutions (e.g. learning management systems, virtual and hybrid learning platforms, and other digital tools) to support scalable, efficient, and accessible program delivery and communication.

Residency Requirement: There is a residency requirement for all applicants not currently employed by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. This residency requirement states that candidates must have, for three of the last five years immediately prior to applying for this position; (1) resided in the United States; OR (2) worked for the United States Government as an employee overseas in a Federal or Military capacity, OR (3) been a dependent of a U.S. Federal or Military employee serving overseas. Probationary Period: You may be required to serve a probationary period of 1 year.
