Program Manager – Cyber Uplift Program

  • 12 Month contract

  • Candidate willing to work 3-4 days in office in Brisbane.

What you will be doing is?
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing end-to-end program leadership, governance and delivery oversight across multiple cyber security workstreams. This role will work closely with senior technology, security and business stakeholders to ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with the organisation’s cyber security strategy and risk objectives

This is a senior role suited to an experienced Program Manager who can operate confidently across Cyber Security, Technology, Risk and Business environments and manage multiple concurrent initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex Cyber Security programs and portfolios.
  • Develop and maintain program plans, roadmaps, milestones, budgets, dependencies and delivery frameworks.
  • Manage multiple projects and workstreams across the cyber security portfolio.
  • Establish effective program governance, reporting and assurance frameworks.
  • Work closely with CISO, Cyber Security, Technology, Risk, Architecture and Business leadership teams.
  • Manage program risks, issues, dependencies and interdependencies across multiple workstreams.
  • Provide clear and concise reporting to executive stakeholders and governance committees.
  • Manage internal teams, delivery partners, vendors and system integrators.
  • Ensure cyber security initiatives are aligned with organisational risk appetite, security strategy and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive delivery of security uplift and transformation initiatives.
  • Manage program budgets, resources, procurement and commercial relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, governance and cyber security maturity.

  • Cyber Security Strategy and Uplift
  • Essential Eight maturity uplift
  • NIST Cybersecurity Framework
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  • Microsoft Entra ID / Identity Security
  • Security Operations / SOC transformation
  • SIEM / SOAR implementation or uplift
  • Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR/XDR)
  • Cloud Security
  • Network Security and Zero Trust
  • Vulnerability Management
  • Security Architecture
  • Data Security and Privacy
  • Cyber Resilience and Disaster Recovery
