Job Summary:

The Program Manager oversees the planning, organization and service delivery of the Direct Cash Program. The Program Manager supervises the case management staff to ensure the delivery of high quality of service, client centered care and monitor program outcomes. The Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program, establishing a supportive and welcoming atmosphere for all program participants homeless street youth receiving services by performing the following duties and responsibilities within the Vision, Mission and Agency Values of BWC

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the team accurately and promptly logs all client case notes and service transactions interactions in Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) or internal databases.
  • Oversee the program's operational budget, tracking expenses related to client assistance and stipends.
  • Creation of monthly check requests and tracking of financial services
  • Manage the requisition and hiring process for staff
  • Oversee the team’s daily assignments, ensuring equitable distribution of workload and troubleshooting complex, high-barrier participant cases.
  • Monitor front-line staff to ensure they are meeting performance standards. Routinely audit staff contact logs, client follow-ups, and daily task completion.
  • Ensure all staff maintain up-to-date client records, statistical data, and required documentation within HMIS and AWARDS database systems, strictly adhering to agency and contractor timelines and confidentiality policies.
  • Review and analyze program data, trends, and participant outcomes. Prepare and submit comprehensive reports required for government contracts, private grants, and internal agency dashboards.
  • Actively participate in the agency’s Program Quality Improvement (PQI) processes to continuously elevate service delivery standards.
  • Assist Director in ensuring all daily operations meet strict programmatic, legal, and fiscal grant requirements.
  • Conduct regular OKR check-ins with staff, identifying operational bottlenecks early and pivoting team strategies to ensure Key Results are met on time.
  • Other duties as assigned.
