Summary
Program Manager overseeing the US Army Japan G-5 Plans and Strategy division's daily operations, force management, policy development, and staff supervision for conventional forces programs.
About the Position: This position serves as the US Army - Japan (USARJ) Assistant Deputy, G-5 and receives broad guidance from the Chief of Plans and Strategy (G-5) Deputy Chief of Staff, Chief of Staff, the Deputy Commander (DC), and the Commanding General (CG). Guidance is in the form of general policy and overall program guidance and may outline potential time and budgetary constraints.
Responsible for day-to-day oversight of programs and activities related to G-5 Plans and Strategy and Strategy for the organization.
Perform technical advisor/subject matter expertise for the execution of Force Management, requirements and sourcing of Army conventional forces in support of the organization.
Participate in the development and review of plans, programs, policies, and procedures for the execution of activities that are the responsibility of the Plans Directorate.
Direct the daily operations of the G-5 Division staff by exercising direct daily supervision over personnel engaged in accomplishing the commands operations, training, and readiness programs.
