Program Manager -VALORANT Mobile

As a Program Manager on the VALORANT Mobile team, you will help the team operate more effectively across Riot partners and external development partners. This role is centered on program leadership rather than direct feature review or product ownership.

You will improve the systems, operating rhythms, and collaboration models that help VALORANT Mobile move with greater clarity, predictability, and efficiency. You will be a force multiplier for the broader product team by helping leaders and partners prioritize work, facilitate alignment, identify the right stakeholders, and define actionable next steps in ambiguous cross-functional spaces.

A key part of this role will be partnering closely with Riot stakeholders to improve our greenlight process for feature and content development, enabling both sides to work with stronger transparency, clearer ownership, and more efficient decision-making.

You will report to the Product Lead of VALORANT Mobile.

Responsibilities:

• Help the VALORANT Mobile product team prioritize complex work across multiple initiatives, functions, and partner teams by creating clarity on goals, trade-offs, ownership, and actionable next steps
• Facilitate alignment across Riot and external stakeholders by identifying the right decision-makers, driving discussions to clear outcomes, and helping the team navigate complex cross-functional dependencies and escalation paths
• Help reshape the current greenlight process across different types of features and content for VALORANT Mobile, to evolve the steps, methods, and collaboration model as the game, its operating needs, and its stakeholder landscape continue to change post-launch
• Drive cross-functional coordination for regular patches and major moments, ensuring teams stay aligned on scope, timing, dependencies, and readiness
• Build and maintain strong operating systems, including trackers, planning rituals, decision logs, communication loops, and escalation paths that improve team visibility, accountability, and follow-through
• Proactively identify risks, blockers, and dependency gaps early, then work with partners to resolve issues and keep strategically important work moving
• Build effective working relationships across Riot and external partners, while communicating priorities, status, risks, and decisions clearly to leadership and stakeholders over time

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in program management, project management, production, operations, or a related role in game development, live services, or similarly cross-functional environments
• Demonstrated experience driving high-complexity, strategically important cross-functional programs from planning through execution
• Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn ambiguity, competing goals, and incomplete information into clear action plans
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience guiding teams toward decisions and alignment across complex or contentious spaces
• Experience building or improving processes, planning rituals, and workflow systems that increase transparency, predictability, and execution quality
• Experience working with distributed teams and external or co-development partners across different cultures, incentives, and working styles
• Proven ability to identify risks early, manage dependencies, and drive mitigation plans across multiple workstreams
• Strong documentation and operational tool fluency, including Google Docs, Google Sheets, Slides, Airtable, Jira, Trello, or similar systems
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working on tactical shooters, competitive multiplayer games, or mobile live service products
• Experience improving approval workflows, collaboration models, or operating processes across internal and external teams
• Experience working in a large, matrixed, and globally distributed organization
• Familiarity with live game development rhythms such as patch planning, release readiness, seasonal beats, and ongoing cross-team execution support
• Passion for VALORANT and strong instincts for how to help teams work effectively in service of a great player experience

• 推动常规版本与重要版本节点的跨团队协调，确保各团队在范围、节奏、依赖关系与就绪度上保持一致
• 建立并维护清晰有效的团队运转机制，包括追踪表、规划节奏、决策记录、沟通节奏与升级路径，提升团队整体可见性、责任感与执行跟进质量
• 提前识别风险、阻塞与依赖缺口，并联合相关团队推动问题解决，确保战略重要事项持续前进
• 与 Riot及外部合作方建立高质量合作关系，并持续以清晰方式向管理层与相关方同步优先级、状态、风险与关键决策

基本要求

• 6 年以上项目管理、项目推进、制作、运营，或其他相关岗位经验，具备游戏研发、长线运营或类似复杂跨职能环境中的工作背景
• 有推动高复杂度、战略优先级高的跨团队项目从规划到落地的实际经验
• 具备很强的优先级判断与问题拆解能力，能够把模糊信息、冲突目标与不完整输入转化为清晰的行动方案
• 具备优秀的会议引导、沟通与相关方管理能力，能够在复杂或存在争议的场景中推动团队做出决策并达成一致
• 有建立或优化流程、计划机制与协作系统的经验，能够有效提升透明度、可预测性与执行质量
• 有与分布式团队、外部团队或联合研发伙伴合作的经验，能够适应不同文化背景、激励机制与工作方式
• 能够提前识别风险、管理依赖关系，并推动跨工作流的风险缓解方案
• 具备良好的文档与运营工具使用能力，包括 Google Docs、Google Sheets、Slides、Airtable、Jira、Trello 或类似工具
• 中英文流利，能够支持本地与全球团队协作
