Programme Service Delivery Quality of Care Officer - Kano
Summary
Clinical quality assurance officer overseeing service delivery and quality of care for SRH/FP/MNCH/Nutrition programs across health facilities in Kano State, Nigeria. Responsible for strengthening government health systems, implementing quality of care frameworks, data management, and supply chain coordination to improve health outcomes for adolescent girls, young women, and newborns.
The Service
delivery and QoC officer is responsible for clinical quality assurance and strategic
positioning of A360’s SRH/FP/MNCH/Nutrition services at the state level. The role supports
subnational governments and supported facilities to deliver high‑quality,
evidence‑based services for adolescent girls, young women, and newborns.
Operationally, the role strengthens government systems and health facilities
to deliver high‑quality,
evidence‑based services for adolescent girls, young women, and
newborns, while driving data‑driven decision‑making, stakeholder coordination,
and sustainable scale at state level.
The Officer leads/coordinates TA and implementation in six broad objective
areas:
- TA
for Government System Strengthening (aligned with SRH & MNCH
projections)
- Instituting
Quality of Care (QoC) Frameworks & Mechanisms
- Data
Management, Analysis & Use (high RDQA performance)
- Supply
Chain Management for Essential Commodities
- Strategic
Engagement, Coordination & Resource Alignment (scale &
sustainability)
- Planning/Budgeting,
Knowledge Management & Reporting
Requirements
- Must possess a first
degree in Nursing and /or Midwifery. And must be registered with the Nursing
and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
- An
observable commitment to professional improvement will be an added advantage.
- 5 years’ experience in an equivalent service delivery/health
capacity strengthening role with progressively increasing responsibility in a
fast-paced working environment.
- Supporting the delivery of
results, learning, and capacity building for LGA and PHC level personnel.
