Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Programmer Analyst to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain software applications. The ideal candidate should have strong programming and database management skills, with hands-on experience in web development, .NET technologies, SQL Server, and API integration.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to enhance existing systems, develop new solutions, and ensure applications meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, code, test, and maintain software applications.

• Analyse system requirements and develop solutions based on business needs.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software and application issues.

• Maintain and enhance existing source code and applications.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including flowcharts, diagrams, code comments, and revision records.

• Customize and integrate third-party software applications to meet organisational requirements.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to test, validate, and approve software solutions.

• Develop and maintain web applications, database solutions, and RESTful APIs.

• Ensure application performance, reliability, and compliance with technical requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 7–8 years of relevant experience in software development, programming, or application support.

• Strong knowledge of programming concepts, computer algorithms, and software development principles.

• Proficiency in the following technologies:

  • Frontend: Angular and/or React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

  • Backend: Node.js, ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core, and MVC.

  • Database: Transact-SQL (T-SQL) programming and Microsoft SQL Server.

  • Integration: RESTful APIs and Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).

  • Development Tools: Microsoft Team Foundation Server/Services (TFS).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

• Experience working with vendors and cross-functional teams is an advantage.

• Technical Skills:
  Candidates should have intermediate to advanced proficiency in frontend and backend development, with advanced proficiency in T-SQL programming and Microsoft SQL Server.
