SUMMARY
The Project Engineer leads engineering and technical development projects, including various aspects of workflow, budget allocation and scheduling.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Facilitate and contribute to the development of project plans and designs.
• Review designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and related specifications.
• Coordinate activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
• Lead integration of technical activities and products. Collaborate with other teams to identify and troubleshoot problems and share solutions,
• Analyze equipment, systems, processes, and systems to identify modifications to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs.
• Evaluate design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
• Control expenditures within limitations of project budget.
• Prepare periodic progress and cost reports for leadership.
• May have responsibility for technical direction of other lower-level plant engineers.
• Support special projects as directed by Plant Manager.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position collaborates with various team members to provide leadership and direction on key projects. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
