GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

The Project Coordinator will be a multifunctional role to assist both broadcast and production needs in the Media Services department. This coordinator will plan, work, and help lead sports broadcasts in coordination with the Broadcast Coordinator. This coordinator will assist the Director of Media Services with fulfilling audiovisual needs across campus with faculty, staff and administration. For special events, this coordinator will assist in coordinating, organizing and serving as event producer. This will include communicating with event planners, full time and student worker staff, contractors and AVL vendors to coordinate various aspects of these events.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage Patriot Broadcasting Network broadcasts for athletic and university events
• Coordinate resources and serve as event producer for assigned special events including Commencement, Spring Sing, Fine Arts Events, SWAT week and other special events as needed
• Operate AV equipment for events as needed
• Ability to interact effectively with administrators, staff and vendors
• Assist Director of Media Services with AV system integration project planning and organization
• Demonstrated ability to organize complex productions, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and meet deadlines
• Perform other duties as assigned

WORK SCHEDULE:

The Project Coordinator will have regular hours as agreed upon with the Director of Media Services. However, evenings and weekends will be required as athletic and campus events warrant.
