Project Coordinator- Scrum -1652
Summary
A ~7-month contract Project Coordinator/Scrum Master role in Culver City, CA (hybrid, 3-4 days onsite). Day to day the person facilitates Scrum ceremonies, coaches teams on Agile practices, manages the backlog with Product Owners in JIRA, and tracks project costs against budgets and forecasts.
- This is not a IT Scrum Master role - Must have Finance Transformation Experience
- 4+ years of project management or product/project development experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Hands-on experience functioning as a Scrum Master or in a similar project management role
- Experience facilitating Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and backlog refinement
- Intermediate JIRA experience
- Experience managing project schedules, working sessions, stakeholder follow-ups, dependencies, and action items
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a corporate project environment
- Bachelor’s degree
- Guide and support the project team in Agile and Scrum practices.
- Facilitate Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and future planning sessions.
- Schedule and coordinate project working sessions.
- Follow up with stakeholders and project team members to ensure deliverables and action items are completed on time.
- Partner with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize the backlog.
- Identify and help remove project impediments.
- Track project schedules and keep teams on task against project timelines.
- Support Sprint Reviews and Finance Steering Committee meetings.
- Monitor and analyze project costs against budgets, forecasts, and contracts.
- Work with internal Agile/Scrum resources as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 4+ years of Agile/Scrum project experience required.
- The target background is approximately 5-10 years of project management/Scrum experience, but candidates outside this range can be considered.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum concepts and practices.
- Intermediate working knowledge of JIRA.
- Experience facilitating meetings across multiple levels of an organization.
- Knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Finance transformation, accounting, ERP, or finance-related project experience.
- Basic familiarity with finance/accounting terminology or systems such as SAP.
- Scrum or Agile certification. Certification is not required.
- Entertainment/media industry experience. Industry experience is not required.
- JIRA administration experience.
