Project Engineer
Summary
Coordinates and verifies design, prototyping, and testing activities to meet technical approvals and customer satisfaction for automotive braking systems.
- Ensures the planning, coordination and verification of all design, prototyping and experiment activities in order to achieve the technical approval with a view to Customer satisfaction;
- Guarantees that the Platform is used as a reference for product design and development, and ensures technical discussion with the Client, in addition to supporting the Platform and the Commercial entity in securing orders;
- Ensures the planning and coordination of the project development activities within the area of responsibility, in agreement with the Manager;
- Guarantees the collection and integration of the project technical specifications and their transfer to the relevant internal entities;
- Ensures control of the project development activities, updating the Development Plan, measuring deviations and analysing their causes, and reporting to the internal entities and the customer’s technical experts, while also working to solve them;
- Ensures control of design review activities;
- Guarantees the performance of the project FMEA activities, ensuring the implementation of the resulting actions;
- In the phases following the start of production, guarantees the coordination of the activities associated with product change requests and/or any criticalities emerged during mass production.
