Project Engineer (Data Centre Cabling)

EZSVS offers engineering, IT integration, hardware installation, and data center operation services, supporting global data center operations. Job Summary Perform and manage structured cabling installation and design to meet client standards. Lead project teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure quality and timely delivery of data center cabling solutions. Responsibilities Install and troubleshoot structured cabling systems to maintain quality according to client standards and requirements Design structured cabling layouts and develop solution proposals tailored to client needs Manage cabling requests including diversity pathways, inter-room/floor connections, and telco circuits Coordinate delivery of goods with project engineers and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability Plan and schedule manpower and work activities aligned with contractual project timelines Oversee daily project operations to ensure smooth execution and issue resolution Participate in site meetings and inspections to report on project progress, schedule changes, and additional client requests Supervise and guide project supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors to enforce structured cabling standards Prepare and submit monthly project reports to Team Manager and clients for transparency and tracking Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) set by top management to meet project and company goals Coordinate and negotiate with clients on project requirements, schedules, and implementation details Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and building management to support ongoing collaboration Required competencies and certifications Diploma in Computer Science, Telecommunication, Engineering, or related field Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot network equipment issues (Cisco, H3C, Huawei) with at least 1 year of relevant experience Ability to independently diagnose and repair x86 servers and Linux systems Basic knowledge of Data Centre domain operations Preferred competencies and qualifications Relevant vendor certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, HCNA, HCNP Experience in team management
