Salary: S$4,500 – S$5,500 Basic + AWS + Bonus
Commission: No Commission
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Location: Kaki Bukit Crescent / Project Sites
Working Days: 5 days per week
Site Work: Approximately 60–70% construction site environment
OT: Expected depending on project requirements

The Opportunity

As a Senior Project Engineer / Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and driving elevator and escalator projects from planning and installation through to testing, commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend weekly project coordination meetings with clients and project stakeholders.

• Participate in monthly site safety meetings and ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements.

• Attend monthly payment and project review meetings and follow up on outstanding project matters.

• Develop and maintain project schedules in line with clients' master programmes.

• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays and drive corrective actions to meet project milestones.

• Coordinate project purchase requisitions and documentation through SAP, including GR, SR and project costing.

• Coordinate submission of local purchase catalogues, material samples and sample boards for consultant approval.

• Prepare site progress reports, technical reports and other project documentation.

• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and site personnel to ensure works are completed according to schedule, drawings and specifications.

• Monitor installation activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical requirements and company procedures.

• Ensure all site activities comply with Singapore workplace safety requirements, building regulations and relevant industry standards.

• Maintain proper records of project progress, inspections, technical issues and corrective actions.

• Liaise with clients, consultants and building owners on site access, permits and work arrangements.

• Coordinate with internal engineering, installation, procurement, testing and commissioning teams to resolve project issues.

• Identify project risks and implement appropriate preventive and corrective measures.

• Support testing, commissioning and final project handover, ensuring all required documentation is completed.

• Perform other project-related duties assigned by the Project Manager or management.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.

• For Senior Project Engineer: minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience, in lift/elevator and escalator or vertical transportation.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and SAP/ERP systems.
