Project Executive (Interior Design)
Job Summary
Oversee and coordinate project activities to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality delivery. Manage on-site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders while maintaining compliance and supporting procurement and handover processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee project progress, timelines, and budgets to ensure smooth and effective project delivery
- Manage daily on-site activities and proactively identify risks or delays to keep projects on track
- Prepare comprehensive site reports, inspection records, and progress updates for internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate with clients, landlords, and building management to obtain site access and necessary approvals
- Supervise subcontractors and on-site teams while conducting regular safety inspections to ensure regulatory compliance
- Perform quality checks on workmanship and materials to maintain high project standards
- Assist with procurement, sourcing, and quotation coordination to support project requirements
- Facilitate smooth project handover by ensuring all deliverables are completed and properly documented
Required competencies and certifications
- Knowledge of site safety practices to maintain a secure working environment
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation
- Willingness to work on-site and travel as needed for project coordination
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 1 to 2 years of experience in project coordination, interior fit-out, or construction
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to engage confidently with clients, contractors, and management
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address project challenges proactively
- Ability to work independently with a deadline-driven and self-motivated mindset
- Hands-on attitude with a strong sense of accountability and ownership of project responsibilities
