- Manage varying size projects from pre-contract, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans. This includes being accountable for every aspect of a project from engineering handoff to project closeout.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively across internal teams: Solution, Engineering, Sales, Pre-Construction and Finance to ensure project is executed to contract requirements
- Supervise and lead project teams, including internal trade teams, subcontractors, vendors and external professional services, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Review and maintain accurate project documentation, including, but not limited to, contracts, permits, and change orders.
- Prepare and manger project scope of work, submittals, post project deliverables, and supporting documentation/artifacts throughout project lifecycle.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, providing accurate cost estimates/forecasts and monitoring expenditures and managing cost control throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare and update all project tracking and forecasting to maintain a clear line of site to internal project stakeholders and supporting teams. To include, but not limited to, revenue forecasting, labor forecasting, PO tracking and Change Management.
- Create and maintain project schedules, setting deadlines and milestones to track progress and ensure timely completion.
- Implement quality control processes to ensure that all work meets regulatory and safety standards and is completed to the highest level of craftsmanship.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets, including proper and timely escalation to leadership team
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, architects, engineers, and contractors, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns that arise while fostering positive client relationships through clear and effective communication directed at managing proper expectations.
- Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and that the project complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process, adapting plans as necessary to keep projects on track.
- Review project metrics and progress and notify stakeholders and leaders of any delay or risks associated with the projects.
- Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and project milestones to manage expectations
- Perpetuate a “Safety First “mindset partnering with Safety Team to assure proper site safety maintains 100% compliance to contract, industry and Accelevation standards and expectations.
- Travel to job site as needed, especially for the kick-off meeting as well as the closing meeting, which will require up to 50% travel.
- Ensures a project is completed safely, accurately, meets industry and company standards and is profitable for the company and their clients.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Construction. Previous experience in General Contractor and/or Construction Management firm is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software such as Procore, ACC, Epicor, etc.
- The ability to create, update, and own a scope-delineated project schedule with preferable working knowledge of how to utilize Microsoft Projects or other similar project scheduling software.
- An understanding of the correlation between budget and progress within the context of a data center white space construction project.
- Must be proficient in reading blueprints and construction plans.
- Must demonstrate proven success working with all levels of management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Track and manage all change orders and warranty requests for projects.
- The ability to produce project timelines through a written scope of work.
- Expert time management skills.
- Willing to travel up to 50%. (variable frequency)
