Project Manager (AI Strategy & Digital Transformation, over $70K)

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and enhancement of AI platforms and gateways to facilitate city management and cross-departmental integration.

• Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, consulting firms, government departments, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project execution.

• Provide administrative and project support for AI-related strategic initiatives, including the establishment of AI governance structures and leadership frameworks.

• Assist in developing strategic roadmaps for government-wide AI adoption, ensuring compliance with security, ethical, and AI safety standards.

• Promote data sharing, collaboration, and digital transformation initiatives across departments.

• Support the development and implementation of AI policies, governance frameworks, and best practices for the safe and responsible use of AI technologies.

• Gather business requirements, solicit stakeholder feedback, and facilitate cross-departmental alignment for AI initiatives.

• Evaluate existing business operations and processes against international best practices to identify improvement opportunities and operational gaps.

• Recommend standardized operational and management frameworks tailored to public sector environments.

• Organize and deliver promotional and engagement activities, including webinars, presentations, workshops, training sessions, speeches, and newsletters to drive AI awareness and adoption.

• Manage schedules, meetings, documentation, reports, presentations, and project-related administrative activities.

• Prepare management reports and performance evaluation materials to support decision-making.

• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management.

• Provide technical and administrative support outside normal office hours when required for urgent matters, special events, or critical project activities.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least have 8 years’ experience in IT industry

• Minimum 4 years of project management experience, preferably in IT, digital transformation, AI, or public sector projects.

• Experience in supporting AI-related projects, policy development, or digital transformation initiatives is highly preferred.

• Previous experience working with government departments or public sector organizations is an advantage.

Technical Knowledge

• Solid understanding of AI and data analytics technologies, including:

• Generative AI

• Chatbots and Virtual Assistants

• Image Analytics

• Text Analytics / Natural Language Processing (NLP)

• Data Analytics and Business Intelligence

• Knowledge of AI governance, risk management, security, and responsible AI practices is highly desirable.
