Project Manager (AI and data analytics) / Senior System Analyst

Salary: $60,000 – $90,000 per month

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager (CPM) to provide crucial technical, administrative, and coordination support for the preparatory work associated with establishing a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) post.

This role will be instrumental in formulating strategic roadmaps for AI adoption, driving the digital transformation of public services through AI technologies, enhancing operational efficiency, and improving citizen-centric service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Strategy & Gateway Development: Support the development and enhancement of an AI gateway to facilitate city management, cross-departmental integration, and alignment with established security, ethical, and AI safety benchmarks.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise and coordinate with relevant teams, consulting partners, and stakeholders to ensure seamless information flow, gather requirements, and facilitate cross-departmental alignment.

• Data Sharing & Digital Adoption: Promote and facilitate data sharing and collaboration, driving the adoption of AI and digital solutions (such as chatbots, image analytics, and text analytics).

• Policy & Governance Frameworks: Support the formulation and implementation of policies, initiatives, and governance frameworks to guarantee the safe, effective, and responsible use of AI in services.

• Operations Evaluation & Best Practices: Evaluate existing business operations and operational landscapes against international benchmarks to identify gaps and develop standardised management frameworks tailored to public sector needs.

• Promotion & Outreach: Assist supervisors in organizing and executing promotional activities—including webinars, presentations, speeches, newsletters, and training sessions—to encourage AI adoption.

• Administrative & Executive Support: Manage schedules, prioritize tasks, organize meetings, prepare comprehensive reports and presentation materials, and provide overall administrative backing for decision-making and performance evaluation.

• Additional Duties: Carry out other tasks as assigned by supervisors. Note: When necessary, after-hours technical and administrative support may be required for special events or urgent operational needs.

Requirements

• At least 8 years experience in IT, with at least 4 years of experience in project management.

• At least 2 years experience in people management.

• Possess solid knowledge in AI and data analytics technologies, such as chatbots, image analytics, or text analytics.

• Possess knowledge and working experience in supporting AI-related projects and policies.

• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Able to work independently.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
