Project Manager

JOB SUMMARY

The Architectural Designer plays a key role in the planning and design of a wide range of project types and supporting projects from concept through construction. This position collaborates closely with project managers, consultants, and stakeholders to translate project goals into thoughtful, functional, and inspiring built environments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Develop design concepts for projects
• Produce design presentations, renderings, and graphics for client meetings
• Prepare schematic design, design development and construction documents
• Coordinate with consultants (MEP, structural, civil)
• Conduct site visits and assist with construction administration tasks
• Ensure compliance with educational specifications, local building codes, ADA requirements, Life Safety and security standards
• Oversee and review work of junior staff and interns, providing mentorship and guidance
• Attend client meetings, site visits and inspections; prepare meeting minutes and field reports
• Research materials, products and systems to inform design and detailing
• Manage project timelines and budgets in collaboration with project managers

Requirements:

• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution
• 3 – 8 years of professional experience
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, detailing and construction methods
• Excellent design, communication and presentation skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
