Project Manager - Atlassian Migration program
Summary
Leads an enterprise-wide migration from Atlassian Data Center/Server to Atlassian Cloud for a banking & finance client in Stockholm (hybrid, 3 days onsite). Owns scope, timeline, budget, risk and governance across Technology, Security and Compliance, through testing, cutover and adoption. Key tools: Jira, Confluence, Agile/SAFe.
We are looking for a Project Manager to one of our clients within Banking & Finance.

Location: Stockholm (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
About the assignment:
You will lead a strategic enterprise-wide migration of the Atlassian platform from on-premise to Atlassian Cloud. This high-visibility initiative involves multiple stakeholders across Technology, Security, Risk & Compliance, and Business functions, requiring strong governance and stakeholder management throughout the program lifecycle.
Core Responsibilities:
• Lead the end-to-end migration program from Atlassian Data Center/Server to Atlassian Cloud
• Define and manage project scope, timeline, budget, risks, and dependencies while coordinating cross-functional teams
• Establish governance structures, provide regular status reporting to senior management, and manage stakeholder engagement
• Ensure migration activities adhere to enterprise architecture, security, risk, and regulatory requirements
• Oversee testing, cutover planning, adoption, and transition to operational support
Profile & Qualifications:
• 7-10 years of project/program management experience in complex organizations
• Proven track record leading large-scale enterprise transformation or migration projects
• Experience managing SaaS transformation initiatives or cloud migrations
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid models
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholder groups and executive-level communications
• Experience managing projects with significant regulatory, risk, and security considerations
• Strong leadership, facilitation, negotiation, and decision-making skills
Required Skills:
• Agile
• Atlassian platform knowledge (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management)
• Certifications like PMP/ PRINCE2
• SAFe
• Experience in banking or financial services
• Cloud migration program experience
• Data residency and compliance knowledge
