Project Manager - Data Analytics

About the role

From the DATA Directorate, we need to incorporate a PROJECT MANAGER based in Barcelona or Madrid.

Your mission will be to help make data a strategic asset of the company through the definition and management of information projects, the identification and rationalization of new information, the training and dissemination of data models and corporate analytical tools, and the advisory and support to the areas.

What you'll do

• Management of Business Intelligence projects, mainly relational data modeling projects, ETL processes, and data visualization.
• Management of suppliers involved in project development, ensuring compliance with the best practices defined for the company's information architecture.
• Ensuring the alignment of new information requests with the defined roadmap, to guarantee the necessary growth of the company's analytical capacity.
• Advising areas on information projects: both in the identification and initiation of the project (requirements) and upon project completion with training and post-production support.
• Management of production application maintenance.
• Addressing and resolving questions/consultations from user areas.
• Promoting a data-driven culture, proposals for new tools, and uses in

Requirements

You are the talent we are looking for if you have...

What we're looking for

• University degree, preferably in Computer Engineering or Telecommunications, Bachelor's degree in Mathematics
• Minimum 4 years of experience in data architecture / modeling and analytical project management.
• Knowledge and experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Knowledge and experience with tools such as QlikSense, OBIEE, or Looker. Other visualization tools such as Tableau/Power BI/MicroStrategy are valued.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery.
• Experience in gathering requirements and defining user testing.

Nice to have

• Knowledge and experience in the Insurance or Banking sector, or other highly regulated environments, are valued.
