Project Manager / Design Site Supervisor
Summary
The Project Manager / Design Site Supervisor oversees interior design implementation on-site to ensure quality standards and design intent are maintained. They act as the primary liaison between design teams and site contractors, managing project documentation and resolving technical issues.
The Project
Manager / Design Supervision Manager is responsible for supervising the
implementation of interior design works on site, ensuring that approved
drawings are executed correctly, design intent is maintained, and quality
standards are met.
This role
acts as the key link between design and site execution, supporting the
Technical Design Manager in resolving site issues, coordinating stakeholders,
and delivering projects in line with ELE Interior Design’s standards.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Design Supervision & Site Coordination
- Report directly to the Technical Designer /
Technical Design Manager and work under their direction
- Assist in resolving site-related concerns,
particularly where design clarification or coordination is required
- Conduct weekly site visits for assigned projects
to monitor progress and execution
- Ensure approved drawings and specifications are
fully compliant with site implementation
- Identify deviations from design intent and
initiate corrective action
Quality Control
- Carry out regular quality reviews of work on
site, including finishes, joinery, and detailing
- Ensure materials and workmanship meet approved
standards and specifications
- Report quality issues and coordinate with
relevant parties to ensure timely rectification
Project Coordination & Communication
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned
projects
- Coordinate with internal design teams,
contractors, suppliers, and consultants
- Identify design and site issues, report them
clearly, and resolve design-related matters in coordination with the
Technical Design Manager
Client Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and issue project reports and Minutes of
Meeting (MOM) to clients and internal stakeholders
- Maintain clear documentation of site
observations, design issues, and agreed actions
- Support inspections, snagging, and handover
documentation as required

- Proactive problem-solving and coordination skills
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design,
Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years’ experience in interior design project
management or design supervision (UAE experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of joinery, finishes, and site
coordination
- Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit experience is an
advantage)
- Familiarity with UAE fit-out processes and
authority requirements
- Valid UAE driving licence preferred
