Activities:
• Lead and manage drilling and grouting projects, including anchors, micropiles, and ground improvement works, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Plan, organize, and oversee all site operations, including mobilization, resource allocation, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project requirements and technical specifications are met.
• Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and technical submittals related to drilling and grouting activities.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, and performance, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Manage project budgets, track costs, and control expenditures to maintain profitability.
• Oversee subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring work quality and adherence to contractual terms.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, including technical, operational, and commercial risks.
• Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Handle contractual matters, including variations, claims, and extensions of time.
• Support tendering and business development activities by providing technical input and project planning expertise.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all project activities.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE policies on site.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 12–15 years of experience in drilling and grouting works, including anchors and micropiles.
• Proven experience in managing geotechnical or foundation engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of drilling techniques, grouting methods, and ground engineering practices.
• Experience in project planning, cost control, and contract management.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, MS Excel).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with local construction regulations, codes, and standards in the UAE.
• Professional certification (e.g., PMP) is an advantage.
