Project Manager - Data Platform Programme

Location: London (Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite)

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to support a major data platform transformation programme. Working within a complex enterprise environment, you will be responsible for delivering key project outcomes across a large-scale data and technology portfolio.
This is a long-term engagement offering the opportunity to work on strategic initiatives that support business-critical programmes through to 2028.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery across multiple workstreams.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and delivery milestones.
• Manage project budgets, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Engage and communicate with business and technical stakeholders at all levels.
• Ensure project governance, reporting and controls are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver agreed objectives.
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops and steering committees.
• Drive successful delivery against time, cost and quality expectations.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering large-scale technology or data-focused projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong project planning, governance and risk management capability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously.
• Experience working with Databricks.

Desirable Skills

• Data platform, analytics or cloud transformation programme experience.
• Experience within industrial, manufacturing, energy, chemical or petroleum sectors.
• Exposure to large-scale global programme delivery.
