Our client is an established fire protection contractor in Singapore, specialising in fire protection systems for building construction projects.
Job Responsibilities
Manage fire protection projects from planning and coordination through to installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
Oversee the installation of fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, wet and dry risers, and other related systems.
Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor project progress, manpower, materials and subcontractor performance to meet project schedules.
Review drawings, technical submissions and installation plans to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Manage project costs, variation orders, progress claims and other commercial matters.
Conduct site inspections to ensure installation quality and compliance with relevant codes and requirements.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections and handover documentation.
Identify and resolve technical, site coordination and operational issues.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health requirements throughout project execution.
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in fire protection project management within the construction industry.
Good knowledge of fire protection systems, including sprinklers, fire alarms, wet and dry risers.
