Our Client is an innovative digital technology Company based in Cookstown. As their business grows they have an opportunity for a Project Managerto join their team. The role: You'll sit between our clients, our management team and our software engineers. Your job is to make sure every project is properly scoped, planned and delivered. This is not a development role. You don't need to code, but you do need to understand how software gets built and be able to hold your own with engineers. Duties & Responsbilities You'll own delivery from kick-off to handover. Plan each project: milestones, deadlines, deliverables and who is doing what. Run the day-to-day with the engineering team: priorities, progress and blockers. Keep scope, time and budget under control, and manage change when a client asks for more. Spot risks, delays and gaps early, and deal with them before they grow. Keep clients updated, and lead project meetings and demos. Coordinate testing, client sign-off and handover. Manage ongoing support for the apps we build. Support work is organised into product streams and delivered through software releases. Give management a clear, current picture of every live project. Client Interaction: Work with clients to understand how their business runs today: the people, the process and where it breaks. Run discovery meetings and workshops, and ask the questions that get past the first answer. Map the current process and the new one, so everyone can see what changes.. Check what we build against what was asked, and support the client through acceptance testing. Prepare each visit: research the business, frame the problem and brief the team on what to build. Lead the room on the day: draw out how things work now, and keep the build pointed at the real problem. Write up what was learned and agree next steps with the visitor. Follow up. Where there is a fit, turn the prototype into a scoped project and support the commercial conversation. Person Specification: Essential Experience delivering software or digital projects, as a project manager, business analyst, delivery lead or similar. Able to gather requirements and turn them into scope, milestones and work a development team can build from. Highly organised: you can run several projects, deadlines and moving parts at once. Confident leading a room, whether that's a client meeting or a workshop A clear communicator with both business owners and engineers. Commercially aware: comfortable talking to prospective clients and moving a conversation forward. Process-minded: you look for ways to make things clearer, more organised and more efficient. Comfortable with technology. You understand how software gets built, even though you don't write it. Desirable Experience in a software company, digital agency or consultancy. Experience running workshops or discovery with clients. A project management or business analysis qualification. Why this role You'll join at a stage where you can shape how we work: how projects are run. There's plenty of room to make the role your own. If you enjoy working with ambitious businesses and getting things over the line, we'd love to hear from you.
