Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager / Director specializing in
Middleware and API Integration with extensive Core Banking Solution (CBS) exposure,
specifically within Finacle.
In this role, you will lead complex integration initiatives connecting modern digital onboarding
front-ends, loan origination systems (LOS), and government registries with core banking
architecture. You will be responsible for end-to-end technical delivery, API governance, security
compliance, and stakeholder alignment with bank IT teams.

Role/Title: Project Manager / Director Middleware & API Integration
Minimum Experience: 8+ Years
Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / MCA (or equivalent technical degree)
Domain Focus: Banking & Financial Services, Core Banking Systems (Finacle),
Middleware, Digital Onboarding & Lending Integrations
Key Responsibilities
1. Architecture & Design Collaboration:
Work closely with the Banks IT team to design, architect, and build robust APIs
bridging the onboarding front-end, Core Banking Solution (Finacle), and Loan
Origination Systems (LOS).
Ensure low-latency, highly secure, and scalable middleware solutions for banking
transactions.
2. Third-Party & Government Portal Integrations:
Drive seamless integrations with key government and regulatory bodies/portals,
including PFMS, CKYC, NSDL, and other statutory database endpoints.
3. API Governance & Quality Assurance:
Own comprehensive API documentation, contract management, version control,
and life-cycle management.
Lead security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and regulatory compliance
checks in coordination with bank security teams.
Plan, coordinate, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and end-to-end
integration testing alongside bank IT teams and vendor partners.
4. Project Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
Oversee project milestones, technical deliverables, risk mitigation, and technical
escalation management.
Act as the primary technical bridge between business analysts, external vendors,
and internal core banking engineering teams.
Target Profiles & Ideal Background
Current Role/Title: Senior Integration Architect, Technical Lead, Technical Delivery
Manager, or Project Manager / Director.
Relevant Experience:
Background in Core Banking Vendors (e.g., Infosys Finacle ecosystem).
IT Services firms specializing in BFSI implementations (e.g., Neosoft, TCS,
Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, etc.).
Internal Bank IT/Transformation teams with hands-on enterprise integration
experience.
Technical Expertise:
Deep understanding of API protocols (REST, SOAP, Microservices), API
Gateways, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), and Finacle Connect/API frameworks.
Hands-on knowledge of banking middleware architectures and financial
regulatory security protocols.
