Project Manager (Information Technology)

Summary

Drive end-to-end delivery of digital products, facilitate Agile ceremonies, manage stakeholders, and support testing and post-release activities for government-facing IT projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive successful delivery of digital products from development through to users.
  2. Work with Product Manager and relevant stakeholders on requirements gathering and product delivery.
  3. Facilitate Agile activities including sprint planning, scrum and retrospectives.
  4. Track development progress and ensure timely delivery.
  5. Support system, user and security testing prior to release.
  6. Support product adoption and post-release activities, including identification and resolution of issues with Product/Engineering teams.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
  2. Experience in building and delivering digital products end-to-end.
  3. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools.
  4. Experience in stakeholder management and requirements gathering.
  5. Experience with Government procurement approaches, e.g. Tender and RFQ.
  6. Team player who can effectively engage with various levels of stakeholders.
  7. Highly motivated with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Able to work independently, manage priorities and drive matters to closure.
  9. Scrum Master, Product Owner or Business Analysis Professional certification would be an advantage.
  10. Prior experience managing government data-related projects would be an added advantage.

This is a 2 year (renewable) contract position
