To support the continued growth of SAPA in the Netherlands, Hydro Building Systems Netherlands is looking for an enthusiastic and commercially driven Project Manager.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As Project Manager, you will be the commercial hunter within the project market. You will actively engage with the market, identify new construction projects and build relationships with contractors, developers, architects, consultants and other key stakeholders.

You will identify projects at an early stage, map the relevant decision-makers and position SAPA as a relevant system and solutions partner.

Your key responsibilities:

• Ensure that SAPA is specified and included in project specifications and tender documents.
• Position SAPA throughout the specification and decision-making process.
• Actively prospect and identify relevant construction projects at an early stage.
• Qualify and prioritise projects and translate them into a commercial pipeline;
• Follow up commercial opportunities from initial contact through to tender and order.
• Build and maintain sustainable relationships with customers and decision-makers at different levels.
• Build and maintain a strong network within the Dutch construction industry.
• Visit contractors, developers, architects, consultants and other project stakeholders.
• Work closely with Account Managers and technical teams to further develop projects.
• Monitor market developments and project trends and translate them into commercial opportunities.
• Take ownership of commercial results and proactively take corrective action where needed.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a commercial, economic, technical, construction, architectural or business-related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant commercial experience, preferably in construction, façade, aluminium, building materials or a technical-commercial environment.
• Experience in project sales, business development or solution sales is a strong plus.
• An existing network among contractors, developers, architects or other relevant players in the Dutch construction industry.
• Affinity with technology and sustainable construction.
• Strong commercial, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial and self-motivated.
• Strong in follow-up, planning and pipeline management.
• Willing to visit stakeholders and prospects throughout the Netherlands.
• Native-level Dutch and professional English.
