Project Manager - Medical Devices
Summary
A project manager runs a short, urgent programme reviewing clinical/laboratory equipment: assessing what needs upgrading, building a sequenced delivery plan, and managing vendor engagements on requirements, costings, timelines and risks while coordinating stakeholders. Requires PM experience in medical device/health environments.
What you’ll be doing
- Reviewing equipment identifying what needs to be addressed
- Building a practical delivery approach (priorities, sequencing, dependencies, risks)
- Engaging with vendors to confirm: upgrade/update requirements; costings and timelines; issues/constraints and recommended plans.
- Coordinating stakeholders and keeping activity moving at pace across a short engagement
- Proven project management capability (delivery-focused, structured, pragmatic)
- Experience with lab or clinical equipment (medical devices / diagnostic / clinical engineering environments)
- Understanding of the health sector and regulated environments
- Working knowledge of procurement processes and vendor/commercial considerations
- Strong vendor engagement and management skills (clear comms, outcomes-driven)
