About the role

Qarma is growing in Asia, and we’re looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Shanghai.

If you have a background in sourcing, buying, quality or project management and enjoy turning complex challenges into smart, scalable solutions, we’d love to meet you. Your mission is to make sure our customers get real business value from the Qarma platform, from the first onboarding meeting through to everyday use.

Our platform replaces spreadsheets and paper reports with intuitive digital workflows for quality assurance, product compliance and supply chain management. We work with leading fashion and design brands, retailers and their suppliers to improve product quality and build more sustainable operations. We have offices and partners across Europe, the US and Asia.

What you’ll do

• Plan, manage and deliver customer implementation and onboarding projects

• Understand customer needs and translate them into effective Qarma solutions

• Train and support users and stakeholders, including brands, suppliers and factories in China and Asia

• Work with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and feed customer insights into product development

• Engage customers proactively to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities

You’ll work with customers through email, online meetings and on-site visits to suppliers and factories. You’ll scope onboarding projects, align stakeholders across time zones and deliver on time.

Our customers operate worldwide, and so does our team. You’ll be based in Shanghai and work closely with delivery colleagues in Denmark, the US, Australia and Vietnam, as well as our development, compliance and marketing teams.

Who you are

• 2–5 years of experience in project management, sourcing, buying or quality/compliance, ideally in fashion, lifestyle or consumer goods

• Hands-on knowledge of product development, sourcing or the supply chain in China

• Strong communication and analytical skills, with a structured, solution-oriented mindset

• Proactive and independent, with a drive to move things forward

• Comfortable with customers, and able to adapt your communication style to different people and cultures

• Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken

• Willing to travel to supplier and factory sites when needed
