Project Manager (Software & Infrastructure Projects)
Summary
A Project Manager delivering software, infrastructure, and technology remediation projects end to end within the Digital Backbone Portfolio, based in Portsmouth (Port Solent). Day-to-day covers planning, budgeting, governance reporting, and risk management using PRINCE2/Agile/Waterfall methodologies, coordinating internal teams, stakeholders, and suppliers.
Salary: £35,000 - 72,000 per year
Requirements:- Proven experience delivering software and/or infrastructure projects in enterprise environments.
- Hold a PRINCE2, APM PMQ, PMP, or equivalent certification.
- Strong stakeholder and supplier management skills.
- Experience with project planning, budgeting, and reporting.
- Demonstrable risk and issue management experience.
- Knowledge of PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience of infrastructure refresh, cloud migration, cyber security, or obsolescence remediation projects.
- Deliver software and infrastructure projects from initiation through to completion.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependencies.
- Coordinate internal teams, business stakeholders, and third-party suppliers.
- Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Track project performance and provide governance reporting.
- Ensure compliance with organisational governance, security, and change management processes.

The role is based in Luton on a 6-month contract, with pay up to £67.50 per hour inside IR35 (DOE).
