Project Manager - IT
Sydney CBD with hybrid working
6 Month contract with potential to move to permanent

We are currently seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join a well established, purpose driven organisation based in Sydney CBD.

Working closely with the IT Operations and Technology Delivery team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering projects while ensuring objectives are achieved within agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage business and IT projects from initiation through to delivery.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, resources and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, senior stakeholders and external vendors.
• Identify, assess and manage project risks, issues and dependencies.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, reporting and governance frameworks.
• Prepare and deliver project updates and progress reports to senior executives.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate effective communication across project teams.
• Provide guidance and support to project resources to ensure successful delivery.

About you:

• Demonstrated experience managing complex IT and business projects.
• Strong technical understanding of information systems, software development methodologies and technology delivery.
• Proven ability to manage project budgets, timelines, risks and competing priorities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including experience communicating with senior executives.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira and Azure DevOps.

Experience working within the NFP, government, health or education space would be highly regarded, although not essential.
