- Job Description:
- We are looking for aresponsible and experienced Project Management Manager to oversee and coordinateday-to-day site operations. As a construction project manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and managing construction projects for our firm.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Confirming building plans with Surveyors, Architects, and Engineers
- Hiring construction workers
- Creating work schedules so projects are completed before deadlines
- Purchasing or hiring building equipment and materials
- Overseeing building projects to ensure staff are working safely, productively and to a high standard
- Monitoring construction budget to minimise overspending
- Providing progress reports to clients via phone, email or meetings in person
- Negotiating with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors
- Requirements:
- • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in construction project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
- • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes and safety regulations
- • Excellent project management skills, including effective planning, organising and prioritising tasks
- • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, including project blueprints and construction schematics
- • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage project teams and stakeholders
- • Proficiency in construction management software, project scheduling tools and cost estimation software
- • Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and green building certifications.
- Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 6:00pm
- Saturday (if required): Half day / as peroperational needs
