Project Planning Engineer

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Project Planning Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects by developing project schedules, monitoring performance, producing executive reports, and driving programme improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules.

• Monitor project progress against baseline programmes.

• Produce executive dashboards and progress reports.

• Forecast project completion dates and identify schedule risks.

• Support project controls and capital investment planning.

• Coordinate schedule reviews with project stakeholders.

• Prepare delay analysis and recovery programmes.

• Monitor contractor performance and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.

• Minimum 10 years' planning experience on major infrastructure or utilities projects.

• Advanced Primavera P6 experience.

• Strong reporting and analytical skills.

• Experience producing executive-level reports.

• Knowledge of project controls and scheduling best practices.
