Product Owner

Summary

Own and drive the Data Office’s data platform roadmap, translating business needs into prioritized backlog items and ensuring delivery of high-quality data products to internal stakeholders.

The opportunity

Within our Data Office division, we are looking for a Product Owner Data to reinforce the Data Platform teams providing Data to data consumers.

In this strategic role, you will drive the planning, governance, and delivery of one of our Data Office portfolio - ensuring full strategic and delivery control while serving as the single entry point for all Data Office initiatives.

Day-to-day responsibilities

Strategic portfolio steering

  • Maintain the roadmap, backlog, and delivery schedule; track progress against defined milestones;
  • Conduct capacity planning: assess resource needs and optimize allocation across competing initiatives;
  • Translate business priorities into a coherent execution plan, in close collaboration with architects and data engineers;

Governance, risks & compliance

  • Identify risks, interdependencies, and compliance requirements; ensure mitigation actions are tracked and closed;
  • Ensure data products are delivered with proper documentation, quality standards, and operational readiness;
  • Proactively escalate structural blockers to management;

Communication & Leadership

  • Act as the single point of liaison between technical teams and business units
  • Produce clear, concise reports and dashboards tailored to each audience level (steering committees, sponsors, operational teams);
  • Monitor key KPIs: delivery metrics, data quality scores, stakeholder satisfaction;
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Who are we looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field; Master's preferred;
  • Experience in Project Management, Product Operations or Digital Transformation;
  • Proven track record managing complex, multi-disciplinary data or technology initiatives from concept through delivery;
  • Excellent stakeholder management: able to coordinate across technical teams, finance, business units, and senior leadership;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: ability to think strategically and tactically; turn data into clear, actionable insights;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills: fluent in English, comfortable creating clear requirements, documentation, and reports for diverse audiences;
  • Highly organized and proactive: strong attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to drive initiatives independently;
  • Agile and practical mindset: happy to take on ad-hoc tasks; know when process helps and when it gets in the way.
  • Working knowledge of Big Data technologies and cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure);
  • Familiarity with BI tools, PowerBI and Excel;
  • Familiarity with planning and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence);
  • Professional certifications (PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master/Product Owner);
  • Prior experience in payments or fintech industry.
