Property System Product Owner - Cheltenham

Salary: £21,000 - 60,000 per year

• Experience leading and improving important products or services in a large or complex organisation.

• Lead the team responsible for our Property System and set its strategic direction.
• Ensure priorities reflect organisational need and give stakeholders confidence in where the product is heading.
• Create the clarity and conditions the team needs to deliver well.
• Work across regions, countries and national directorates to balance operational requirements with a long-term view.
• Partner with senior stakeholders, delivery teams and external partners to turn business needs into a coherent roadmap and deliver change well.
• Provide strategic leadership for one of our most significant operational systems.
• Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for the Property System.
• Translate complex requirements into clear priorities and deliverable outcomes.
• Lead and develop the Property System team.
• Create a resilient, collaborative culture and ensure resources are focused where they deliver the greatest benefit.
• Manage risk and dependencies through effective governance, communication and engagement.

We are the National Trust and this is an internal applicant opportunity for a Product Owner role focused on our mature, business-critical Property System. The system supports our management of land, buildings, agreements, income, maintenance and compliance, connecting operational delivery, property data, finance and reporting, and its reach is continuing to grow. Our contractual location is our head office in Swindon, with an expectation to attend the office, and there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week, to be discussed further at interview.
