PSP Manager

Discussion

Are you the person who gets called when deposits start failing — and actually knows why? We're looking for a payments specialist to own the performance, integrations and provider relationships behind every deposit and withdrawal across our B2C brand portfolio and B2B platform. This isn't a purely commercial relationship-management role. You'll be hands-on with routing configuration, decline-code diagnosis, PSP integrations, and fraud-pattern collaboration — with real accountability for hitting 75%+ acceptance on first deposits and 85%+ on repeat deposits.

What you'll do

  • Monitor acceptance and conversion daily/hourly, diagnose deterioration by provider, route, BIN and decline code, and optimise routing, cascading and 3DS strategy.
  • Own the payment incident log — coordinating PSPs, Engineering, Risk and Support through to root cause and resolution.
  • Be the primary commercial and operational contact for our PSPs, acquirers, aggregators and banking partners, running regular business reviews.
  • Partner with Risk, Fraud and BI to spot suspicious deposit/withdrawal patterns and feed payment intelligence into detection models.
  • Support our B2B platform with reusable integration standards, connector documentation and client onboarding.
  • Test and validate new and existing payment methods and PSP integrations across Tier 1 brands, reporting results and flagging issues
  • Design and implement test strategies and automation frameworks specifically for payment/PSP flows
  • Build and maintain test scripts, test suites, and libraries covering functional and non-functional payment integration testing
  • Analyze transaction data and payment flow quality to proactively identify issues and drive improvements
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines related to payment integration testing
  • Maintain fully integrated test automation covering the infrastructure layer of payment-related client applications
  • Collaborate closely with Payments, Product, Compliance, and Engineering teams to validate new PSP partnerships and payment method launches
  • Identify new tools and approaches to improve automation coverage for payment testing
  • Ensure all payment integrations meet regulatory, security, and Tier 1 brand compliance standards before go-live

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years in online payments, with real operational ownership — not just account management.
  • 2+ years in iGaming, betting, fintech-for-gambling, or another regulated high-risk online sector.
  • 3+ years of QA/testing experience, including hands-on work testing payment systems or PSP integrations
  • Hands-on experience configuring payment gateways or orchestration platforms (e.g. PaymentIQ, Praxis, Corefy, BridgerPay or similar).
  • Comfortable reading transaction-level data — APIs, webhooks, decline codes, 3DS flows — and turning it into a fix.
  • Working knowledge of fraud, chargebacks, KYC/AML dependencies and PCI-relevant payment-risk controls.
  • Strong Excel/BI skills; SQL or hands-on data analysis is a strong plus.
  • Willing to participate in a structured on-call rota for critical payment incidents.
  • Strong analytical skills - able to trace transaction flows, identify discrepancies, and troubleshoot integration issues end-to-end
  • Solid QA methodologies knowledge (test planning, test case design, defect lifecycle)
  • Java core knowledge
  • Tools and technologies: Maven/Gradle, TestNG, REST Assured, Git, SQL (PostgreSQL)
  • CI/CD basic understanding
  • Experience working in a microservices architecture

Nice to have

  • Experience spanning both B2C and B2B payment delivery.
  • Tier-1 market depth.
  • Direct (non-aggregator) integration experience.
  • Exposure to fraud-model feature design alongside a data science team.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary;
  • Remote work in a flexible environment;
  • 20 working days of paid vacation and education projects;
  • Great product with our software solution;
  • Opportunity for growth at professional levels, attending top industry events and conferences, and international workshops at our competence centers.

Important

This position entails a schedule that is not always the standard Monday-Friday 5-day workweek, shifts may fall on weekends or in the evening.
