Key responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of psychiatric disorders using evidence-based therapies.
- Prescribe medications, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatments as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, social workers, and other medical professionals.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in continuous professional development and contribute to clinical governance initiatives.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification in psychiatry.
- Valid UAE medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Minimum of 3 years post-board certification clinical experience in psychiatry.
- Strong clinical skills in managing various psychiatric conditions in diverse patient populations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
