Pay rate: $22.65 per hour
Shift: Monday - Thursday 5:30am - 4:00pm, mandatory overtime on Fridays occasionally
Position type: Temp to hire

What’s a typical day as pump repair technician? You’ll be:

  • Following documented procedures to return pumps to their original state and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Troubleshooting various pump components and working with a variety of hand tools.
  • Performing technical aspects of repair, production, and restock processes.
  • Completing all documentation required for quality compliance.
  • Reporting to supervisory staff and collaborating with other technicians.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED (required).
  • Possess experience in mechanical or electrical repair within a manufacturing environment.
  • Can identify small electronic components and differentiate them by their markings.
  • Demonstrate good judgment, a positive attitude, and a high level of initiative.
  • Are able to read, follow, and deviate from written instructions as necessary.
  • Have basic computer skills and can manually perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Are comfortable handling small parts, assembling/disassembling devices, and transcribing data accurately.
  • Can visually inspect components for particulate matter as required by FDA standards.
  • Are able to sit or stand for most of the workday, lift up to 15 pounds, and push/pull up to 6 pounds.
  • Willing to comply with safety regulations including wearing static protective smocks and ground wrist straps.
