About Us - Purchasing
Develop and operationalize procurement analytics, compliance reporting, and performance management that supports Workday readiness and ongoing financial performance. This role drives transparency, identifies root causes, and enables leadership decisions.
Schedule: Full Time (8:00am-4:30pm)
What You'll Do
Build and maintain KPI reporting: PO cycle time, backlog, exception rate, contract compliance, price variance, rush freight, supplier performance.
Perform root-cause analysis on defects (approval delays, item setup issues, UOM/pricing problems, supplier configuration).
Create management-ready dashboards and weekly executive summaries; translate findings into actions with owners and due dates.
Partner with Finance/AP on match exceptions and invoice throughput improvement.
Support audits: documentation completeness, control adherence, and segregation-of-duties checks (in partnership with HR/IT/Compliance as applicable).
Knowledge and Skills
Understanding of procurement, purchasing workflows, and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as PO cycle time, backlog, exceptions, and contract compliance.
Knowledge of root‑cause analysis methods, defect investigation, and process‑improvement frameworks.
Familiarity with financial and AP processes, including match exceptions, invoice flow, and audit requirements.
Ability to build data‑driven dashboards and executive‑ready reporting that translates insights into actionable recommendations.
Strong analytical skills to diagnose process defects, pricing issues, item setup errors, and supplier configuration problems.
Skilled in cross‑functional collaboration with Finance, AP, HR, IT, Compliance, and Supply Chain teams.
Ability to interpret performance trends, assign action owners, and drive follow‑through to resolution.
Ability to maintain audit‑ready documentation, verify control adherence, and support segregation‑of‑duties checks.
Ability to present findings clearly and succinctly to leadership and operational partners.
Requirements
3+ years analytics in supply chain/procurement
Advanced Excel Knowledge
Strong communication Skills
