About the Role:
We are seeking an Entry-Level Purchasing Project Manager to serve as a key point of contact for purchasing activities across assigned launch programs and engineering changes. In this role, you will partner closely with Engineering, Launch Project Managers, and cross-functional teams to coordinate and track critical purchasing deliverables, ensuring alignment with program timing, budgets, and objectives.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and organized problem-solver who can manage multiple priorities, collaborate effectively across teams, and stay focused in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. This is an excellent opportunity to build project management and purchasing expertise while contributing to successful product launches.

What You Will Do:

Support purchasing activities for assigned Launch Programs, Engineering Changes (EC’s), New Development Opportunities from start to finish
Track Purchasing Program milestones and deadlines
Assist buyers / managers with day-to-day activities (quotes, pricing, delivery schedules, etc.)
Attend Launch Programs, EC’s meetings
Communicate regularly with Buyers, Launch PM’s, Engineering, Operations, Finance teams and other cross functional teams
Identify risks (delays, roadblocks) and help develop solutions
Keep accurate records / documentation for all Launch Programs and EC’s
Support process improvements in Purchasing and Project Tracking

What You Need To Be Successful:

0–2 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or project coordination
Basic understanding of procurement or supply chain processes
Strong organizational and time management skills
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets (Excel or similar tools)
Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time

Bonus Points If You Have:

Internship or co-op experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Travel:

5-10% travel
