Position: Full Remote
Experience: Mid-Senior
Key Responsibilities
- • Troubleshoot and resolve delivery issues across environments, including pipeline failures and data inconsistencies.
- • Maintain and evolve schema-driven YAML/JSON configurations for distribution and exhibition platforms.
- • Support operational workflows by updating internal Python automation scripts.
- • Perform database-level investigations to validate data integrity and confirm fixes.
- • Work through PR-based change management with clear documentation and regression verification.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery operations.
- • Apply observability and log analysis techniques to trace failures and extract actionable insights.
- • Ensure compliance with schema validation and maintain configuration hygiene.
Mandatory Knowledge
- YAML/JSON (production-grade): Safe authoring/refactoring, strict structure, and change hygiene.
- Git + PR workflow: Clean diffs, review discipline, conflict handling, and controlled promotions.
- Observability & log analysis: Tracing failures across pipeline stages, correlating identifiers, and extracting actionable signals from logs/metrics.
- Schema/validation mindset: Interpreting schema/tooling errors and keeping configs compliant.
- Python: Debugging and adjusting existing scripts/automation; implementing targeted fixes safely.
- Databases (SQL): Querying to investigate production issues, validate data integrity, and confirm outcomes.
- Production support fundamentals: Incident triage, root-cause analysis, mitigations, and regression verification.
- Jinja templating: Understanding template-driven generation and making safe, minimal changes.
Optional Knowledge
- Media Supply Chain fundamentals: Deliverables, packaging concepts, metadata hierarchies, locale conventions, and downstream dependency impacts.
- Advanced mapping/config patterns (conditional/switch/lookup/padding; robust globals/locals usage).
- CI/automation improvements (linting/formatting, pre-validation checks, regression harnesses).
- Partner operations context (common rejection patterns, partner-specific exceptions, operational playbooks).
- Communication in incident/PR contexts (concise updates, change summaries, and requirement translation).
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience in production support for large-scale delivery platforms.
- Strong understanding of schema-driven configuration management and automation workflows.
