Python Backend Developer(Kafka)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend services using Python.
• Implement and manage Kafka-based messaging systems for real-time data ingestion, processing, and distribution.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and stream processing applications using Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, or similar technologies.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Data Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of services.
• Optimize application performance and scalability through profiling, tuning, and refactoring.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices in software development.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues related to Kafka and backend services.

Qualifications (Required Skills)

• Strong experience in Python backend development
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, or similar messaging/streaming technologies
• Knowledge of data pipelines and ETL processes
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and production monitoring
• Experience in performance optimization and scalability
