Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Python Data Tester with strong expertise in data validation, data quality testing, and test automation. The candidate should have hands-on experience using Python and SQL to validate data pipelines, identify data discrepancies, and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated data testing scripts using Python.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks across source and target systems.
- Write complex SQL queries to validate datasets and identify discrepancies.
- Test ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformations, and data migration processes.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and report data defects, working closely with development teams.
- Develop and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test execution reports.
- Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and QA teams to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Python and SQL.
- Experience in data testing, ETL testing, and data validation.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data integration processes.
- Experience in test automation and defect management.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with PyTest or other Python testing frameworks.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Spark or Databricks.
